BOLDA® Column Shoe is a new generation of Peikko’s column shoes with high load capacity. It is efficient and compact and has ETA verified resistances with best in class performance.
The BOLDA® Column Shoe is highly optimized, making it more compact than its competitors. This enables BOLDA® to be easily handled and installed. Thanks to the compact design of BOLDA® Column Shoe, up to 24% smaller column cross-sections can be achieved when compared to PEC® Column Shoe. Smaller cross-sections reduce material use and improve the use of space in buildings.
Its ETA is based on full-scale bending and shear resistance and fire resistance tests. BOLDA® Column Shoe is the only ETA assessed bolted connection for high loads in the world.
A design based on the Eurocodes for BOLDA® column connection in erection, final and fire stages, as well as supplementary reinforcement, are available on Peikko Designer® design suite.

Lengths of anchor bars are defined according to concrete grade C35/45.

PPM® High-Strength Anchor Bolts are used as counterparts for BOLDA® Column Shoes and SUMO® Wall Shoes to create fast and safe connections between precast elements. Anchor Bolts transfer compression and tension forces through a combination of headed studs and the bond of the ribs of ribbed bars.
COPRA® Anchoring Couplers are used with HPKM® Column Shoes, BOLDA® Column Shoes or BECO® Beam Shoes to create fast connections. Anchoring Couplers transfer compression and tension forces through a combination of headed studs and the bond of the ribs of ribbed bars. COPRA® can be adapted to all types of concrete structures and formworks.
